Service (national, regional, state, and local) is a major aspect of the endeavors of librarians and library workers. "Service: Friend or Foe (How Can Service Serve Us?)" will discuss how to recognize the right service opportunities and turn down the wrong ones. It will also discuss how to set boundaries and learn from prior experiences in service to help ensure as much of a mutually beneficial experience as possible.
