Funded by ALA and EBSCO, five public libraries will be competing for a slice of the $10,000 prize package. Each pitch will focus on a local equity issues and/or marginalized population. These librarians will have 5 minutes to convince the audience of the value of their proposal. The audience will vote for the audience choice award, an additional $1,000 prize.
