Webinar Objectives: • Explore different types of workplace anxieties • Learn to recognize symptoms and warning signs • Determine ways of coping and managing problems The workplace is one of the leading locations where people experience stress and anxiety. Every employee will encounter it sometime during their career. Everyone should be aware of the signs of anxiety and the tools needed to cope and deal with it. Our Managing Workplace Anxiety webinar will provide you with the important skills and resources to recognize and manage workplace anxiety. By identifying these symptoms and coping skills you will be better suited for addressing and dealing with the challenges that the workplace can bring.

Speaker: Melvin Scales

  • Currently, Melvin serves as Executive Vice President of Meridian Resources which is a leading national talent management consulting firm. Specifically, Meridian provides talent management solutions to support talent aquisition, employee development and outplacement . In this role, he leads the identification of potential talent management related solutions designed to enhance the market share and presence for MRI into current & new markets. He is also responsible for strategic planning for the firm. Melvin also heads the University Solutions division which partners with graduate business school career services teams to find ways to maximize their effectiveness with students and alumni.
  • Prior to Meridian Resources, Melvin was the Assistant Director of Career Services for the Wake Forest University Schools of Business. He was also the Global Senior Vice-President for the world’s largest career management and outplacement consulting organization-Right Management and led the organization’s thought leadership and global delivery for all 19 global operating regions.
  • Melvin is a seasoned leader with proven success in both brand promotion management and global talent & career consulting and is recognized by colleagues as highly collaborative and pragmatic with strong capability in overseeing major global initiatives.
