Join the BLINC Google Group!
askBLINC -- askBLINC@gmail.com -- provides library staff across North Carolina with a consultancy service designed to support librarians’ business research needs.
We can help libraries use the business resources provided by NC LIVE, such as SimplyMap, ReferenceUSA, Business Source Premier, and Morningstar Investment Research Center, as well as other business research sources available online or in print.
Library staff can email business resource-related questions to askBLINC@gmail.com. The askBLINC team will respond within one business day. (However, it may take more than one day to provide a complete answer.)
But for questions concerning technical issues, such as logging-in to SimplyMap or technical problems with any database, please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk.
BLINC began as a regional interest group in 2003, and now includes members from public, school, academic, and special libraries. We all share an interest in business librarianship. However, you don't have to be a business specialist to be a member, or to attend our free quarterly workshops and meetings!
