The Round Table sponsored well received programs at the NCLA/SELA Joint Conference in November, 2004 in Charlotte. The Executive Committee (EC) has reviewed the conference evaluations and suggestions.

Topics and speakers are being explored for the 2005 Biennial Conference scheduled for September 20-23 in Winston Salem via email and phone conversations. The TNT lunch will have to be moved from its traditional Friday noon slot due to changes in conference programming. At this point, it has not been decided whether to have it on Wednesday or Thursday. Deadline for online submission of forms (Program Proposal and Meal Planning) for the September conference is March 10, 2005.

The Report for the Project Grant awarded by NCLA to the Round Table to help support Stephen Abram’s expenses has been completed, with the final report submitted to Catherine Wilkinson, chair of the Finance Committee.

The EC reviewed the Round Table’s Bylaws for correction in December, made a few minor changes, and forwarded them to Bobby Wynn on December 15, 2004.

The EC will need to move on a Nominations Committee within the next few weeks.

The TNT web pages on the NCLA site need to be updated. We hope to address this issue this semester.
