(SNCA)
This organization offers excellent programs twice yearly, along with
other special workshops and activities. Their web site offers information
on membership, past programs, and many links to other sites of interest,
including one on archival employment in NC.

Society of American Archivists
Information on meetings, education, organization, and education. Also
included is the SAA Code of Ethics, the ALA-SAA Joint Statement on Access
to Original Research Materials, and a directory of North American archival
organizations.

Conservation On-Line (COOL)
The most complete resource on the web for information on conservation
and preservation maintained by Stanford University. Includes directories
of organizations, commercial enterprises, and individual professionals.

American Library
Association, Rare Books and Manuscripts Section
Represents and promotes the interests of librarians, curators, and
other specialists concerned with the acquisition, preservation, etc. of
special collections, including rare printed books, manuscripts, archives,
graphics, music, and ephemera. Links lead to information about RBMS committees,
membership, events, conferences, and workshops; you can also find a host
of other links to reference resources, archives and rare books libraries,
and other organizations.
