Updated announcements and current application forms for the NCLA scholarships and loan were mailed to the graduate library schools in North Carolina early this month. The application deadline is May 30, 2004. Determination of which scholarships, if any, to award this year and in what amounts will not be made until June when the committee reviews the number of applications submitted. Revenue to date indicates the committee will have more latitude than last year in this decision making process. Announcements will be made at the July meeting of the Executive Board.

The NCLA roster webpage was updated to show my current work address and other contact information. Plans to update the Scholarship Committee page and the posted information about the applications are in place.

A nomination for committee membership was submitted to the President. A second vacancy is still to be filled.
