Collection Management Committee Charge:

The charge of the NCLA PLS Collection Management Committee is twofold:

1.  To identify and explore trends in collection management and their impact on public libraries.

2.  To share and disseminate information on these trends through workshops and/or other appropriate venues.

Topics addressed by the Committee should include, but are not limited to, collection management, ILS technology, cataloging and classification, processing, acquisitions, formats, vendor relations and outsourcing, and statistics
