Sponsored by Winnebago and presented to a school library media coordinator who must also be a member of NCASL. The award is given in recognition of the implementation of innovative ideas to enhance the lifelong learning skills of students. The winner(s) will receive a $400 cash award to purchase technology that will enhance students' access to information. Recipient(s) may select the materials they feel will be most beneficial to their library. Applicants will complete a narrative describing the project that is completed or in progress. The narrative should include the following components: name of applicant(s), school/county, description of project, resources/equipment used, target group (grade/subject), strategies (steps in development of the project), and outcomes if completed. Winner must be willing to share the project idea with other NCASL members.
