The Committee has been discussing the current dues structures and changes
that they would like to see to these. The Committee met and outlined two
proposals that will be presented to the board at the February Board meeting
for approval. If these proposals are accepted, then they will go to the membership
for a vote.
Included with dues discussions were also discussions about what each membership category means, so the Committee will also define each category for the Board and for the membership. This will also be brought to the February Board meeting.
The Committee is also implementing an outreach strategy to libraries that utilize a staff day event. The committee hopes to be able to display the membership display along with brochures and applications. Incentives to those joining or renewing will apply. Wake County Libraries will be the first system (February 21).
