Participation in Track I is open to all members of NCLA. Participation in Track II will be open primarily to library directors by invitation only.

Why Apply?

The 2008 NCLA Leadership Institute’s Core Purpose is to create excitement, energy, and passion across North Carolina for transforming the library customer experience! Our Vision for the Future includes entrepreneurial library leaders who skillfully build and lavishly use high performance libraries to create significant and measurable benefits for their customers and communities.

How Will The Selection Process Work?

The Leadership Institute Planning Committee will select Track I participants. Up to 30 qualified applicants and 5 alternates will be selected based on the strength of application and potential to demonstrate high-quality leadership in the library profession.
