The charge of the Constitution, Codes, and Handbook for the biennium was to review the current version of the NCLA Constitution and By Laws for consistency with actions that have been taken by the Executive Board and respective sections and roundtables over the past several years. President Bracy gave the committee January 2005 as a target date for the first draft. We are pleased to report that the first draft is available for your review. The draft has been compared to the fourth edition (green binder) and the fifth edition (online version). The document is best viewed in Microsoft Word XP because of the inserted references. Document the changes (other than grammatical, formatting or appearance) you are forwarding with the appropriate references to the date(s) in the minutes.
