Documents Section

The Documents Section will convene its spring workshop "Taking the Pulse: A Day of Updates" on Friday May 9, 2003, at the McKimmon Conference Center, NCSU. Sessions will include an update on copyright, a panel discussion on government documents in the online catalog, and an update on GPO. Judith C. Russell, Superintendent of Documents will be a special guest. Ridley Kessler, Regional Depository Librarian, is retiring in the near future. He will give a presentation entitled "A Life in Documents". A business meeting will follow the spring workshop.

Bryna Coonan, Coastal Resources Management Librarian, East Carolina University, is now Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the Documents Section. Beth Kaylor, Outreach/Faculty Liaison Librarian, UNC-Wilmington, is Secretary/Treasurer. Both were elected during the fall business meeting.
