Part-Time Library Assistant position in Charlotte

ITT Technical Institute seeks a part-time library assistant for its growing north Charlotte campus! This is an ideal position for a MLIS student looking for professional experience in an academic learning resource center (LRC). Duties will include: assisting students, faculty, and staff with their information needs and general requests, performing circulation of LRC materials, maintaining the online library catalog system’s collection and patron records, and instructing groups and individuals on library databases. Other duties to include: organizing campus events (i.e. poetry slams and National Library Week) and coordinating tutoring and writing lab programs.
