NCLA Changed my Career

By: April Everett

At the 2011 NCLA Conference, I attended a session called Zero Budget Marketing led by two presenters from Wake County Public Libraries.  That session completely changed the way I think about graphic design and marketing.

Share the love! Bring your vendors to conference!

As you probably know, the NCLA Conference is the Old North State’s biggest library event. It’s an opportunity to gather great ideas from your colleagues and find new collaboration partners. It’s also an opportunity to get to know new-to-you vendors and a place where your colleagues can learn about that database, event calendar, furniture company, etc that you’ve raved about.

You can help make the conference a success by asking your vendor contacts to participate as an exhibitor and/or sponsor. Not sure what to say?

Librarians Build Communities 2017 Food Drive

For NCLA 2017 Biennial Conference, Librarians Build Communities are partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. Second Harvest is a proud member of Feeding America and the North Carolina Association of Feeding America Food Banks. Help us stock up the city of Winston-Salem for the upcoming winter. With your help, we can reach our goal of $2,500!
