Librarians Build Communities 2017 Food Drive

For NCLA 2017 Biennial Conference, Librarians Build Communities are partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. Second Harvest is a proud member of Feeding America and the North Carolina Association of Feeding America Food Banks. Help us stock up the city of Winston-Salem for the upcoming winter. With your help, we can reach our goal of $2,500!

At the conference you will be able to participate anyway you choose. Stop by the registration table at the conference and give through check, cash, or grocery store gift cards. Non-perishable pantry items are encouraged and will be collected in donation bins also at conference registration. Volunteers from Second Harvest will be on site to accept credit card donations. You can also donate with a credit card at Second Harvest’s website: www.hungernwnc.org. For questions about Second Harvest, contact Joseph Kilar (336) 784-5770.
