Thanks for helping us Make it Matter in Greensboro last month! It was wonderful to see so many library folks there -- we had 863 attendees, 75 Exhibitors, and 18 sponsors! Check out these photos & tweets from the conference - great for those who were there, and even for those who couldn't make it.

Pictured above are the recipients of this biennium’s scholarship awards.  All are currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in library studies. The awards were presented at the Ogilvie Lecture during the NCLA Conference on Thursday, October 22, 2015.

  • Kapil Dharm Vasudev received the $1,000 Query-Long Scholarship, which is awarded to a student who works with children or young adults.
  • Megan Northcote received the $1,000 Appalachian Scholarship, which is awarded to a student who plans to become a school library media specialist in NC.
  • Shelby Lynn Fields received the $400 McLendon Scholarship.
  • Lynette Kendrick was awarded the NCLA Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.
