7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Presidential Endowment Dinner with a performance by Larry Leon Hamlin

North Carolina Library Association’s Presidential Dinner will raise funds for the NCLA Endowment. Featured in this first Endowment Event will be a performance by Larry Leon Hamlin. Mr. Hamlin is the founder, producer, and artistic director of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. This nationally acclaimed company hosts the equally acknowledged National Black Theatre Festival. Mr. Hamlin is respected as a playwright, an actor and director, and he has received over 80 awards and citations for his work in the performing arts. His 9th National Black Theatre Festival will take place in the city of Winston-Salem in August 2005. He will be performing work from this most recent festival for Endowment Dinner donors.
