This session proposes to provide ideas for librarians who wish to highlight interest in their resources and collections.
“Interactive Mapping Web Sites at the Local and State Level” Thursday, Sept. 22, 4:15 ~ 5:15pm
This program will demonstrate the variety of questions that can be answered from local government web sites, provide lists of sites, demonstrate the common navigation and manipulation tools used, and explain a little about the underlying geographic information system technology (GIS) that makes all of this possible.
