Emyl Jenkins
Antiques Appraiser/Author
EMYL JENKINS, an experienced antiques appraiser, has worked at two auction
houses and and is the author of Emyl Jenkins' Appraisal Book, Emyl
Jenkins' Guide to Buying and Collecting Early American Furniture, and
a number of other lifestyle books. She is a contributor to Art & Antiques and Southern
Accents magazines, among many other publications. She lectures across the
country, has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, and The Discovery Channel,
and lives in Virginia.
Now, in the tradition of Alexander McCall Smith and Lillian Jackson Braun,
she has written a fun, homespun, and suspenseful mystery series-set, of course,
in the world of antiques. The first novel, STEALING WITH STYLE, is published
June 10, 2005.
STEALING WITH STYLE introduces us to the charming heroine Sterling Glass, a
woman who fell into antiques appraising for her love of things, but is finding
out that everyone else might love things a little too much.
With an entertaining and suspenseful plot and a rich array of characters, STEALING WITH STYLE marks the debut of an impressive mystery writer.
