US Geological Survey/Library of Congress Post-Conference

Especially designed for school and public librarians to find new online resources for students and teachers. This session will be held in the Training Room in PLCMC’s Virtual Village. The first two hours will be devoted to exploring the USGS Learning Lab, a valuable resource of K-12 educational material for teachers, project ideas and homework help for students. The second half of the session will highlight the variety of resources available on the Library of Congress’ web sites for teachers and how to make connections across the Library’s collections to support classroom curriculum.
