Join Larry Morgan as he signs his book Mountain Born, Mountain Molded. Morgan, the seventh of ten children of an Appalachian family in the mountains of western North Carolina, describes his family life in the Nantahala Mountains during the late 1940s and 1950s. Morgan tells the story as he experienced it and recounts the social and religious practices in the area and the values, beliefs, and the moral lessons he and his peers were taught. Morgan is a retired school principal and administrator. |
