Michael Chitwood is author of four collections of poetry and a book of essays. His work has appeared in national magazines including Poetry, Threepenny Review, The New Republic, The Southern Review, The Virginia Quarterly Review, Shenandoah, and other publications. He is a visiting lecturer in the Createive Writing Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
