"Making Federal LSTA Dollars Work for your Library"
Sponsored by the State Library of North Carolina
Thursday, September 25, 2003, 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm

Do you have creative ideas to improve library services but do not have the dollars to get started? Come hear North Carolina librarians share how they successfully used Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grants. Grant recipients will share how they’ve used LSTA funds to support Hispanic/Latino services, enhance Internet connections, provide collaborative programming for youth, implement solutions to manage technology, and develop strategic library service and technology plans. Don’t miss this chance to learn about grant funds that can help you enhance services for your users. State Library staff will be available to answer questions and provide more detail about the upcoming grant cycle for 2004-05.

Join Penny Hornsby, Federal Programs Consultant for the State Library of North Carolina, who will facilitate the conversation.
