Finding
Quality Literacy Information Online
Sponsored by the Literacy Round Table
September 25, Thursday 4:15-5:15 pm
Locating quality materials on the web can be a daunting task, but there is a central location for finding it. The National Institute for Literacy (NIFL) created the LINCS Special Collections, whose goal is to compile, catalog, and disseminate quality literacy information online. This service allows anyone the opportunity to access accurate literacy information in many different collection genres. This discussion will feature the LINCS structure and will demonstrate how to use it.
Speakers: Mary Louise Siedow and Ralph Kaplan
