Dr. Robert Burgin and Dr. Pauletta Bracy will present the findings of a study of school library media programs in North Carolina. The study shows that school library programs in NC schools have a significant impact on student achievement—as measured by scores on standardized reading and English tests. The speakers will outline the areas on which high-performing and low-performing schools differ with respect to school librarie
