AND MEDIUM SIZED LIBRARIES
Sponsored by the Special Collections Roundtable and the Public Library Section
Arthur Erickson, Genealogy Librarian
from the Greensboro Public Library, will cover the basic rules for working
with genealogists and how to build a genealogy collection on small, medium,
and large library budgets. He will identify how to find resources and vendors,
how to organize collections, how to effectively solicit donations, and
the role community relations plays in building one’s genealogy program.
The emphasis is on practical advice and necessary details.
