Participants will learn how to obtain and collect statistical data about their libraries' services and operations. They will then learn how to use the data in creative and exciting ways that will elicit appreciation and support from users, governing bodies, and funding agencies.

Keith Lance Presenter: Keith Curry Lance, Director of Library Research Service at the State Library of Colorado. He is a nationally recognized leader in the field of library statistics and is active on many national committees that deal with collections and the use of statistical information for public, academic, and school libraries.

Registration is required; fee of $25.00 for NCLA members; $40.00 for non-members is to be paid with registration.  Lunch is "on your own." Maximum number of attendees is 50; minimm number of attendees is 10.
