Report to the Executive Board
April 25, 2003

CJCS has planned three programs for the NCLA Biennial Conference: "The TEACH ACT," an explanation of copyright guidelines for distance education; "Type Talk: Diverse Languages of Personality Types," a discussion of communication styles and diversity; and "SACS Principles and Libraries," with Dr. Ralph Russell, a SACS staff member, who will discuss the new SACS criteria which go into effect January 1, 2004. A project grant from NCLA is being requested to help cover expenses for the SACS program. A flier will be designed to publicize the NCLA conference programs and mailed to CJCS membership.

The CJCS Board will meet in June to discuss a slate of candidates for the 2003-05 biennium. We will elect a president-elect, secretary, and two directors.
