North Carolina Libraries
Report to the Executive Board
October 15, 2004

North Carolina Libraries is a quarterly publication appearing in March (Spring), June (Summer), September (Fall), and December (Winter). Deadlines for submission for material for consideration in each quarterly issue are January 1 (Spring), April 1 (Summer), July 1 (Fall), and October 1 (Winter). All articles are juried by the Editor and at least two assistant or associate editors.

Electronic issues of North Carolina Libraries are available at www.nclaonline.org/NCL. Print annuals, including all of the issues published originally online, are compiled at the end of each year and mailed to NCLA members and North Carolina Libraries subscribers early in the next calendar year. Each issue is indexed separately and then cumulated in the annual by Michael Cotter, NCL Indexer.

The electronic edition of the Fall 2004 issue is now available at the NCL Web site. A special four-part bibliography on North Carolina libraries is being published serially throughout 2004, NCLA’s Centennial Year. The Winter 2004 issue will highlight the proceedings of the joint conference of NCLA and the Southeastern Library Association (SELA) to be held in November 2004 in Charlotte.

Articles on any topic of interest to librarians are welcomed. The articles for any given issue will no longer have to reflect a common topic or theme. Articles to be considered for publication on the North Carolina Libraries Web site should be sent via e-mail attachment (Word format) to:
